Wikipedia - Ipswich Force

Ipswich Force is a NBL1 North club based in Ipswich, Queensland. The club fields a team in both the Men's and Women's NBL1 North. The club is a division of Ipswich Basketball Association (IBA), the major administrative basketball organisation in the region. The Force play their home games at Llewellyn Stadium.

Ipswich Force er et australsk basketball-lag som spiller i NBL1 North-ligaen. Laget er basert i Ipswich, Queensland, og spiller sine hjemmekamper i Queensland State Netball Centre. Force ble stiftet i 2009, og er det eneste NBL1-laget i Queensland.

Forces førstelag består av både australske og internasjonale spillere. Laget trenes av Chris Anstey, en tidligere NBA-spiller. I 2019 vant Force sitt første NBL1 North-mesterskap, og kvalifiserte seg til NBL1-finalene.

Ipswich Force er et av de mest suksessrike lagene i NBL1 North-ligaen. Laget har vunnet tre mesterskap, og har spilt i NBL1-finalene fire ganger. Force er også kjent for sitt sterke hjemmepublikum, og har en av de høyeste tilskuertallene i ligaen.
