Harland & Wolff Welders Football Club is a semi-professional, Northern Irish football club playing in the NIFL Championship.

History

The club, founded in 1965, hails from Belfast and played its home matches at Tillysburn Park in the East of the city. In October 2021 the H&W Welders moved from Tillysburn park into a redevelopment of Blanchflower Park Stadium costing over £5m with 3G pitches and new stands. A new stadium and facilities in the Danny Blanchflower Playing Fields was under construction by 2020, suitable for Premiership football.

The club was formed by the welders of the nearby Harland & Wolff shipyard. The club's colours are amber and black to display the link with Harland & Wolff shipyard and its cranes. Harland & Wolff Welders share a long running rivalry with fellow East Belfast Championship side Dundela. In April 2014 they formed a partnership with Harland Youth, a young club composed of six teams of all ages and they will now be called H&W Welders Youth. The club would also have quite a close relationship with Glentoran, with many former Glens players turning out for the club.

The club is currently managed by Irish League stalwart Paul Kee.

HW Welders er et engelsk fotballag fra Welwyn Garden City i Hertfordshire. De spiller for øyeblikket i Southern League Division One Central.

Klubben ble grunnlagt i 1905 som Welwyn Wanderers, og byttet navn til HW Welders i 1945 etter å ha blitt sponset av det lokale sveisefirmaet Hughes & Winters. De spilte opprinnelig på lokalnivå, men ble tatt opp i Isthmian League i 1981.

HW Welders vant Isthmian League Division Two North i 1987–88 og ble forfremmet til Division One North. De vant denne divisjonen i 1996–97 og ble forfremmet til Premier Division. De ble imidlertid nedrykket fra Premier Division i 2000–01.

Klubben vant Isthmian League Division One North igjen i 2003–04 og ble forfremmet til Premier Division. De ble nedrykket fra Premier Division igjen i 2006–07, men ble forfremmet til Division One North via sluttspillet i 2009–10.

HW Welders vant Isthmian League Division One North for tredje gang i 2014–15 og ble forfremmet til Premier Division. De ble nedrykket fra Premier Division igjen i 2017–18, men ble forfremmet til Division One Central via sluttspillet i 2019–20.

Klubbens hjemmebane er Hertingfordbury Park i Welwyn Garden City.
